Minority Leader Buckel Meets With Gov. Moore

House Minority Leader Delegate Jason Buckel had the opportunity to join Gov. Wes Moore on Feb. 15, for which Buckel called it “a productive meeting”.

“There will be issues where we cannot agree, but we hope to find some common ground with the new Administration; to make Maryland safer and more prosperous,” Buckel said.

Gov. Moore also released a statement about the meeting.

“This morning I invited the leadership of Maryland Senate Republicans and Maryland House Republican Caucus Senator Steve Hershey and Delegate Jason Buckel to join me for breakfast at Government House,” Moore said.

“I’m grateful for their service to our state and for our conversation on ways in which we will work in partnership, and work across the aisle, to move Maryland forward.”
