Republicans Fighting Hard to Defeat Bad Gun Bill SB 1
The Democrats have introduced SB 1 which will states ”a person may not wear, carry or transport a firearm onto the real property of another”. Republicans say this bill is unconstitutional.
The bill hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. in Senate Judiciary Committee.
Republican Delegate Brian Chisholm says that Republicans must come together to fight this bill.
“This is a shameless act to override the 2nd Amendment and disarm citizens who absolutely have a right to protect themselves against those who, by their own choice, choose to commit crimes against their fellow Marylanders,” Chisholm wrote.
