Mangione Now Running for Baltimore County Council.

Delegate Nino Mangione had originally announced for Maryland State Senate in 2026. He announced he is running for Baltimore County Council in two years.
“As you know, I intended to run for the State Senate in District 42 due to the retirement of Senator Chris West. However, Baltimore County Councilman Wade Kach is also retiring, and I have decided that I am going to run as a candidate for that open Baltimore County Council seat rather than for State Senate,” Mangione said.
“I was born and raised in Baltimore County. Most of my family lives in Baltimore County and our family business is in the heart of the Council District. My connections and roots run very deep here, and this is where I feel I want to put my public policy energies for the immediate future.
“Baltimore County is facing tremendous challenges. Increasing crime, increasing taxes and the fact that Baltimore County has essentially become a Sanctuary County for illegals are just some of the concerns I intend to work on as a Member of the Baltimore County Council.”
