House Democrats Pass Bill to Allow Condoms in School Vending Machine

Del. Nicole Williams of Prince George's County is the sponsor of a bill that would allow the sale of condoms at schools

The Democrats in the Maryland House of Delegates passed HB 380 which repeals the prohibition on sale of contraceptives and contraceptive devices by vending machine in school.
In others, vending machine selling condoms can now be placed in school. All Republicans in the House voted no and some released a statement about the vote.
“HB 380 allows for the placement of condoms in vending machines in kindergarten and elementary schools. This bill passed with only votes from the Democrats…Republicans said no! This anti-children, anti-parent, piece of legislation is an embarrassment and frankly, disgusting,” said a statement from Del. Nino Mangione.
“This bill is pure garbage. I hope and pray the Senate kills this bill! Parents in Maryland would be well served to remember who voted for HB 380 on Election Day. I am disgusted.”
