Cecil County Political Power Couple to Divorce

When it comes to power couples, Kevin and Danielle Hornberger have been the political power couple in Cecil County.

Kevin has been a state delegate since 2015 and Danielle has been the Cecil County Exective since 2020. Kevin was reelected to a third-term in the House of Delegates on Nov. 8

Sadly it appears their marriage is going to end as Danielle announced on her Cecil County Exective Danielle Hornberger page that the couple is getting divorced.

“Last week, I filed for divorce. After many years of marriage, this was not an easy decision,” she wrote.

“Unfortunately, some information recently came to light that was too difficult for our marriage to overcome. Kevin has been a partner to me in many ways and most importantly we had and raised a wonderful son together. I have since moved to my own home in North East and will continue representing the residents of Cecil County as their County Executive.

On a personal level, it is very unfortunate that some individuals are using this news to create lies about my integrity and character. I will not give them the dignity of a response and I will not offer any additional public comments as this is a personal family matter.”
