Moore and Cox Agree to Debate on Oct.6

Dan Cox and Wes Moore are going to debate. Both camps announced they are going to have a debate on Oct. 6 on  Maryland Public Television.

We’re glad Dan Cox has accepted our challenge to debate – October 6th on Maryland Public Television,” Moore said in a statement.

“I look forward to sharing our record of progress and how we’ll keep growing our economy, driving down crime and strengthening our public schools. There’s a better way forward.”

Cox is glad to get at least one debate with Democratic Governor, but he wants multiple debates

“I am honored, on behalf of the people of Maryland, to accept the debate with Wes Moore,” Cox said. “But Marylanders deserve more than one debate—and an opportunity to hear from both candidates before and while voting is underway.”
