Freedom Caucus Touts Member’s “A” Grades on America First Policy

The Maryland Freedom Caucus shared a press release that all of its members received an A on the Institute for Legislative Analysis’ 2026 GOP Scorecard, which focuses on America First policy.

This is a comprehensive review of how lawmakers vote in line with the Republican and Trump platform across more than 60 bills and amendments in Maryland.

Here are the grades for all seven members:
Delegate Robin Grammer: 98.04%
Delegate Mark Fisher: 95.16%
Delegate Matt Morgan: 95.08%
Delegate Ryan Nawrocki: 94.92%
Delegate Kathy Szeliga: 93.33%
Delegate Brian Chisholm: 92.73%
Delegate Lauren Arikan: 91.67%

“Republican voters deserve to know who actually delivers on the platform they campaign on,” said Delegate Matt Morgan, Chair of the Maryland Freedom Caucus.

“For the second straight year, Freedom Caucus members led because we kept our word. We voted for limited government, lower taxes, constitutional rights, secure communities, parental rights, and the conservative values our constituents sent us to Annapolis to defend.”
