Andy Harris responds to proposed Congressional Map

Governor Wes Moore’s redistricting committe released its new proposed maps for Maryland. The map was created to take the Democrats 7-1 advantage and change it to give them the full eight seats.

Maryland’s lone Congressional Republican Andy Harris released a statement about the new maps.

“Wes Moore’s partisan gerrymandering commission lived up to their name. Despite a majority of comments AGAINST gerrymandering during the commission process, they created a map that splits up the Eastern Shore, crossing the 5-mile long Bay Bridge to connect with Howard County through Anne Arundel County,” Harris wrote.

“The Senate President calls it “objectively unconstitutional”, but that didn’t stop Moore from trying to save his presidential aspirations. See you in court, Wes!”
