Democrats Attack Maryland Republicans on Local Level

The Maryland Democratic Party is attacking Maryland General Assembly Republicans for staying silent against President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” that “guts Medicaid”

They claim that all Republicans should somehow stop this bill even though it was passed on a federal level.

Some Republicans fought back asking why  the members of Democratic Party didn’t stop the largest tax increase in Maryland history. Not only didn’t they stop it but most all Democrats voted for the tax increase.

Democrats took a localized approach by labeling all the  Republicans in each County.

For example in Baltimore County, they had a graphic of all nine Republicans ( 6 House members and 3 Senators).

Again, none of these Republicans voted for Trump’s bill and some of them may not even support the bill, but since there are Republicans, they didn’t do enough on social media in the Democrats eyes to stop Trump.

They made a graphic for each county with Republican representatives. It was not clear if these graphics were mailers sent out to voters or this was just a show for the Maryland Democratic Party social media pages.

Let’s hope the Democrats didn’t waste time on mailers because there is no reason to attack Republicans in Western Maryland and Eastern Shore counties, but online attack ads were created for those extremely red districts.

Republicans are a super minority in Maryland but this is the first time that Democrats went after Republican delegates and senators on a local level.
